I can't wait. I wish they were airing it a couple of times though. It seems stupid to only air it once.

Have you heard when the DVD will be released?

No. But you know it will be on Youtube the next day.

They would be stupid not to release it on DVD. I mean they have 3 built in fan bases just for the movie. They have the 80's cartoon, the 4Kids cartoon and the Mirage comics. Then again they could also wait and see how it does on TV with the ratings also.

I read TMNT Collected Book Volume One a few months ago. It was AWESOME. The original Eastman and Laird stuff was just fantastic.

Yeah, and hopefully it won't be taken down immediately.

The #1 episode of the top 10 countdown on The CW 4Kids is the last episode of the 5th/Lost season. I think that's pretty funny. It was voted on by viewers. So, the favorite episode is one of a season that TBTB wanted to skip over to get to Fast Forward.

Turtles Forever was like the biggest love letter to the fans ever.

My favorite line...

2003 Leo: The Utrom Shredder isn't like your Shredder...he's vicious...

2003 Raph: ...leathal...

2003 Mikey: ...COMPETENT!

That was my favorite line as well.

Turtles forever was beyond awesome. I absolutely loved it. 80s Raph continually breaking the 4th wall and the 2k3 characters wondering who he's talking to was awesome.

I would have liked it better if the 80s voice actors would have been able to return, but their absense wasn't a huge deal. I thought the new voice for the 80s Splinter was extremely close the old voice. It's been years since I've heard the old voice, but from what I can remember, he was damn near identical.

Loved them showing all the other dimensions and how the live action movies and TMNT pics were shown (among others). I didn't see a pic of the Next Mutation though. Yes it did suck, but it would've been cool to see a pic of it.

Apparently there's supposed be an uncut version (+12 minutes) posted on the site sometime around December.

Woo!

What I loved about Turtles Forever is that it both prased and made fun of the whole TMNT franchise. It was basically a roast of the Ninja Turtles.

I saw most of Turtles Forever and it was good but not great. I missed the original voices of the 1987 Turtles. Especially Mikey. The story itself was good though and I hope there will be another chance to see it.

The reason I say I saw most of it was because I watched it on YouTube and the person who downloaded it was doing it in 9 parts and he or she only had 7 of the 9 parts. It looked good from what I saw. Like I said, I felt the 1987 Turtles felt too corny and got the brunt of the buffoonery and the fact they didn't have the original voices really hurt the performances. Especially Michelangelo whose original voice was sorely missed. I loved how Raphael kept breaking the 4th wall and it annoyed the characters from the 2003 series. Overall, it was good. I loved the black and white turtles. They were awesome. I had forgotten how much I really grew up with the Turtles. I think I need to seek out some old Turtles stuff. Also, I loved seeing all the different versions of the Turtles in the different universes including the live action movie version. I want to get the first live action movie. That one was fantastic.

I just picked up a TMNT #5 (original 1985 series, 1st print)for a couple of bucks at a flea market this weekend. I'd say it's in excellent condition, as well.
Good find, I'd say.

In case you missed turtles Forever...

1. The whole movie is up on YouTube.

2. They're going to air it again over the next 3 weeks. That whole "one time only" thing meant that's the only time they're airing it as a whole. Now it's going to be broken up into 3 parts.
