Any fans here @ P.o.P!?

Just finished the Halloween Special. Pretty goofy, in a good way, especially with all the different artists and their styles.

I tired to like the book, but it was just a bit too much like some of my other titles.

So it got dropped.

I picked up the second trade a while back. Once I finally got around to reading it, I was hooked. So I picked up the first one, and figured I'd wait until Triangle was released, then start picking up the series with the next issue.

Then they switched back to a series-of-miniseries schedule.

Great timing, huh?

^ Aw. Ya, it is minis and one-shots now. The Christmas Special is the next one-shot, I believe.

I get what you mean. Sometimes I burn myself out with my very own likes. I read Mignola-verse, Fables, and the like. I always gravitate towards dark fantasy, monsters and magic, when it comes to my titles. Even superhero titles. But ya, I this one feels really different with the quirk and intrigue of the cryptids and mythoses, which is what is so attractive to me about Mignola's universe.

I was reading it at the same time as the Hellboy/BPRD books and Proof, which I both enjoyed much more than The Perhapanauts.
