What I'm currently in the middle of and haven't watched before:

The Wire - Season 2
The Shield - Season 3
Smallville - Season 3

About to start:

Battlestar Galactica - Season 4 (after I watch Razor - this series has been absolutely blowing my mind)
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 4

Yeah definitely don't want to rehash old threads but I found this one really useful for hearing peoples' recommendations for stuff.

In the middle of and haven't watched:

Veronica Mars season 2
Birds of Prey
Supernatural Season 3 Although we do end up watching them during the repeats.

This past September, I watched Smallville seasons 5-8 in prep for season 9. I had watched a bunch of the first few seasons when they aired, but somehow got sidetracked by shiney objects. Besides, I needed a new show to watch, given that this season, My Name Is Earl isn't returning, and Chuck starts in the new year. Happy to be back on track with Smallville.

which reminds me I need to start on My Name is Earl since I never watched a Full season of the show when it was on. Just bits.

Currently watching:

In August finished Carnivale S2.

How are you enjoying The Wire? I think it's seriously brilliant.

I didn't see (and so did my brother) what people got so excited about that show, which seemed like just another detective series. Then came episode 4 and made us see the light. It's slow and builds up everything in small but heavy steps, yet it knows how to surprise the viewers.

Just wrapped up Season 3 of Highlander and on disc 2 of Season 4. I think this is the season it really found it's footing as a show. Something I enjoy is my 4 month old sits and watches them with me. Not sure what he see's, but he seems pretty interested. Once I'm done with this series, I might move onto Star Trek TOS. Want to make sure he knows the classics before I move him onto other things.

Re watching random episodes from all four box sets of (new) Doctor Who plus assorted classic episodes. Just gearing up to watching all of BSG from the beginning again (Love that series)

Just finished How I Met Your Mother, Season 4. Worst season, it's got a bunch of filler episodes. This show has about two seasons left in it.

I'm halfway through Dexter Season 2. Awesome show!

Season 3 was awful and 4 barely manages to bring the show back on track, as of now.

That's a shame. I'll still check it out, because I'm loving the first two seasons.

Wow. I thought season 4 was by far the best season of the show. I think it gets funnier and funnier each season.

I just rewatched the entirety of Aaron Sorkin's Sports Night and I will never stop recommending it to people. It's the kind of show that - I don't know - I just can't IMAGINE not liking.
