Ok, so on the heels of the "pick your story" issue, we're back to the "norm" with issue 18. before I spout off, thoughts?

Issue #18

More revelations leads us to more mystery. Although I think we've had hints of it before it was good to learn that the members of this secret organisation are "the Unwritten" of the title of the series and it appears they have been around for a very long time. Anyway, I enjoyed this as much as normal.

I feel like all I can do is gush about this book every issue so if I had to find something to criticise it would be...ummm...okay, maybe Peter Gross's art wasn't as good as normal in this issue. That's about it.

I'm feeling like I'm at the point where I want to read re-read the series from issue #1 as I'm sure there's some hints and clues I've missed.

I need MORE!

Issue #20

Well this is just so good. Really, I don't think there are too many books on the market currently better than The Unwritten.

Finally caught up. This arc is going to be gooood.

I am ready for the next issue! NOW

Okay, issue #21 was superb. I think Mike Carey has created the most imaginative comic book to come along in many years with this. And I love that he makes me desperate for the next issue to come out!

I just think this arc isn't as gripping as it could be. still great though.

I hate to break it to you but she's my Lizzie. What am I saying, she's just a fictional character. Or is she?

It's pretty rough, her and Savoy having to beat each other up.

Unwritten #22

Can you believe this has been going nearly 2 years? Crazy.

I loved this issue (hmmm I think I say that every month). I really like the logic and rules Carey is showing that this universe operates by. I just think he's come up with the most wonderful idea here and, unlike a lot of comics these days based on good ideas (I think there's so many comics these days that are nothing but a good idea with no real substance or story), he's executing it with a great story and characters that you feel for.

As I said I loved this story for some of the stuff revealed here such as how Tom can move between stories but I'm even more excited about next issue which apparently is going to reveal a lot of secrets!
