DC has Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Are there three heroes at Marvel that make up a trinity?

Captain America, Spider-Man and Wolverine are the "trinity" of the MU. Hulk could be seen as part of the "trinity" until the 80's, then replaced by Wolverine.

If we compare JLA to Avengers, then Cap, Iron Man and Thor are the "trinity".

Oh, and with Steve Rogers gone, then Iron Man takes his place on the first "trinity".

In the comics, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man.

In the real world, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hulk.

The real world (i.e. outside of the comics industry) looking at Marvel. I still think Wolverine takes Hulk place in that "trinity".

No one cares about your mind. :P

Like I said, Hulk was the third until about 20 years ago, then Wolverine took his place. Especially with all the media appearances, the cartoons the movies. He definitely defeated Hulk in that area, with the green one having two not-so-great movies in 5 years.

Comicwise (comparing JLA to Avengers), Cap, Thor, Iron Man, with Hawkeye being my pick for 4th.
Now, you can split hairs, but, no one else can topple Clint from the #4 spot!

I agree that Cap, Iron Man, Thor are the Trinity in the comics.

As of 2009, to the real world, I gotta go with Spider-Man, Wolverine, Iron Man. Captain America is non-existent to the mainstream... until his movie comes out. Then maybe he'll move up in the rankings.

I took this as character allusion.

I would go Sentry (Superman), Moon Knight (Batman), & Ms. Marvel (Wonder Woman).

Then again, you could go with Iron Man (Superman), Black Panther (Batman), & Storm (Wonder Woman).

First one works better.

But as stance in the universe right now, you guys hit it nail on the head. Wolvie (Superman), Iron Man (Batman), and...Spider-Man (Wonder Woman?). Ha! That last one doesn't work with the correlation other than the cufflings...oh, wait, Spidey doesn't use those anymore. Hm. Whelp, whatever. :P Cap, Steve Rogers, would be more appropriate for a Diana correlation.

It's hard to quantify. Marvel has always seemed to me (a person who read almost exclusively DC growing up and knew Marvel mostly from cartoons and coloring books (until age 10-11)): Spider-man and then everyone else. One could make a case for Spider-man, Hulk, and then everyone else. Another person (yeah, alot of people running around here) could make a case for Spider-man, Hulk, and then X-men or Captain America, The Fantastic Four, The Avengers, or even Iron Man himself. It's hard to say.
