I've always found their trade in policy to be fundamentally dishonest. They give you a third of what you paid for the item, then turn around and sell it for twice as much.

Every new game I've ever gotten from Gamestop was still wrapped. Try going up to the counter and asking for the game.Chief Kamachi wrote:I understand that they need to make a profit, but I can't help calling shenanigans on some of their practices. Take their "new" games for example. If you notice, they take their games out of the heat shrinked plastic that they're shipped in, and put them behind the counter in those little sleeves. Not a big deal, but i've also heard that the employees are allowed to check out the games. That hardly makes them "new". Maybe JessJupiter can confirm that.
LOL, really, as much bitching as i'm doing about Game Stop, I still fux with them on a certain level.

In the GameStops I go to(washington state) they have the games lined up on the wall separated into "new" and "used", and every game is taken out of the drawers. The new ones are shrink-wrapped in front of you.
