Isn't Modern Warfare the first ESRB Mature game of the series? This game is going to be cutting edge and perfect as the first. I could have camped out Blockbuster or wherever but I was at the movies and tired but I'll get myself a copy definitely... Somehow, I like modern war games better than revisited ones of World War 1 & 2 so the third one is very attractive to me and is the "It" in popular culture. I'm happy my friend will install it on my computer until I pick up a Xbox 360 version.

Check out the trailer below and let me just add what an awesome use of an Eminem song.

I'm curious which version everyone got? I pretty much started out with one of the early COD, but MW was my favorite in the series. Haven't had a chance to pick up a copy, waiting to see if anyone puts it on sale in the next few weeks.

I got my copy at Wal-Mart on Tuesday morning and it's really epic with the areas you battle on. Too bad I don't my Xbox Live on right now but single player is still awesome.

Yeah, I ended up getting mine at Fred Meyers (Kroeger local company) for $48.41 after some coupons. I was almost tempted to take my Resident Evil Elite bundle back and get the new MW2 Elite bundle. Unfortunately the wife reminded me of the trouble she went through getting it and that nothing was really wrong with it. If I'm lucky, the thing will crash and I'll have an excuse to replace it evil

OK, the infamous "airport scene", where is it in the game? I believe I opted to play it and never be ask that question again, but when the game started I was in a firing range in Afganistan. Is it a little bit later in the game or did I hit the wrong button? If I did, can I go back and fix it to where I can play it?

Its the 3rd level.
There was loads of fuss about the play being able to kill civilians, but I found it hard to. Not because morally I couldn’t but because the rest of the group were killing the civilians to fast. I think I killed one guy.

Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience its a great game regardless of what some newspapers may say.

I think my wife said it best the other day in regards to precautions. "If you make a big deal out of something, it makes them(folks) curious". Of course she was talking about parental locks in regards to when our son gets older, but I think it holds a little truth. I won't go much more into it, there's a reason why they call it terrorism though Wink

Addicted!!!! I have Dragon Age and Borderlands and I just cant seem to stop playing this. The single player is almost like an interactive movie, and Co-op mode (spec-ops i think its called) is really fun IF you have another player, soloing it pretty tough. I really enjoy all the Multiplayer upgrades and weapon add ons.....plus it has the AA-12 shotgun which is way too fun (and really pisses ppl off close range). I hope all of you that dont have it get a chance to at least rent it....just a really fun modern FPS!!

Lance Henrickson? I was thinking it was the guys who do Optimus Prime or Bender doing General Shepard's voice. I agree on the solo jawn. The best I could get is 1 star for the 2 phases I played. I wrapped this up last night and was blown away, I smell sequel Very Happy
