At the library today i was looking at graphic novels and found this graphic novel. I knew about magneto's origin but this look like it added to it and it did. It was very good. I thought the use of actual events help cement the story.


I think this book need to be in every high school library.

I am gonna have to agree with this. This was a great read and beautifully written. I really wish they would of taken the Magneto name out of it though. It really stands on it's own as a very powerful piece of literature on it's own without the X-ties

This was a truly masterful and touching piece of literature. One of the best minis of the last decade.

i only read the first two issues but i dug the story, it's just i couldn't find the rest of the series i think my LCBS wasn't selling many and stopped or something.

its collected in a trade paper back now.

Covered it way back during my Wizard columnist days, but haven't read it beyond issue #2 or #3.

Tomer I would love to read you take on the series. You bring a unique perspective considering the background of the book.

Agreed on all fronts. If I was a professor/teacher I would definitely hand this out as an assignment, sorry girls lol

I like the fact that Marvel tried to do this story, I found the execution of it flat though. The writing was ham fisted, and not very good. The art was pretty though.
