Watch This Space -- For Commissions!

We don't really have a thread for stuff like this, but I thought some people here might be art collectors like myself, and might like a place to brag about whatever commissions they've placed or received recently, or discuss artists (politely, of course) that are our favorite commissioned hands-for-hire.

Let me start. I got this piece about a year ago:





I contacted the artist, Michael Langdale, this week, and commissioned two pieces from him. First, a companion piece to the above Super-Family portrait, with the Bat-Family (Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl I, and Bat-Hound). I'm very excited, because Langdale does some awesome Bat art.

The other thing I commissioned from him was 'Girls of the Bat', which is a trio consisting of Huntress, Bat-Girl, and Batgirl I.

I totally recommend checking this guy out before he gets any more popular and his incredibly reasonable prices go through the roof.

I've posted my commissions and sketches on the other thread here but I think it's a good idea to have a place to post info on artist who are taking commissions.

well, i guess this is a commission...of sorts. It's my newest tattoo! My younger sister is a tatto artist and she did it for me.

No. Actually I did a pencil because I am a freelance artist. Drawing is something I've always done and always will do. I always wanted some kind of pencil-related tattoo so i thought it would be awesome (and unique) to make the top of my right arm look like a pencil
