Pilot is tonight at 10:30pm (EST), right after the new episode of South Park. The previews have me laughing, and the setting, with all the creatures and such, has me interested.

it looks kinda interesting. i like that it has an animation style evocative of "Superjail!" It should be fairly good.

I've heard the Superjail thing somewhere. Could be that some of the creators/animators are from that show, amongst others? Not sure.

idk, but seems like a style that's catching on. Something that's a little like gritty 1970ish vintage retrospective with heavy influence and overtones from alternative webcomics like Curvy and others.

^ I get what you mean.

I liked this pilot, but I'm feeling it won't last as long because of the zaniness.

I loved it. It has a lot of potential. It's like Super Jail meets Futurama with a dash of Invader Zim/Ren & Stimpy.

prolly. Unfortunately alot of shows that Comedy Central puts on that follow South Park on Wednesdays don't ever do well for whatever reason.

Sarah Silverman was behind it, but since they've moved it (this season) it hasn't been as funny. Still like it, though.

Freaknik The Musical had a similar style.

Reminds me a bit of Mike Alred and Peter Milligan's X-Statix.

There's a cool flash game base don the show:

It was funny, but the whole monsters and zombies are just a metaphor for the melting pot that is New York City seems a bit one note to me, and I wonder where exactly this show is going. I fear it may fall into the same thing week after week.

Just watching the second episode and that thought popped in my head, too. The color pallette and some character designs reminds me of his artwork.

The magic in this one was just nuts. Impregnating a woman with himself...just freaky!

I think the show'll stay solid. But, still don't think it'll catch on, or get a second season. Pessimistic, I know. Still like it!

Racist blob's are hilarious. Hrm.

Next week's episode looks so crazy.

Found this painting and it reminded me of UA's world.
