Yeah, it's been out awhile, but I finally brushed the dust off it and popped it back into the Wii. Only this time, I tried my hand at the drums instead and I must say, starting off on Medium difficulty, I actually did pretty well. (Mind you, I come from no previous drum experience). Definitely more enjoyable with a group, but if I play on both instruments I at least feel like I'm getting the most for my money

I don't have the band set, just the geetar, but man I love this game. I bought WT & III at the same time and even bought GH: Aerosmith. I love'em all. I really wish the they would release the previous games on Wii, especially Rocks the 80s.

Bring on GH: Metallica and GH IV!

GH: Metallica is coming out at the end of the month right? Can't wait for that.

As far as not having the full band set, that's not a problem. You can jump on geetar while I slap the skins, and I'm almost positive SK loves rockin' out on the mic Wink

I'm starting to face the reality I suck and forever will suck at this game.

I was actually able to play through almost all the gigs on Easy; I had to go to Beginner to eat the Tool set. :surrender:

Practice, practice, Creepy Crawly!

I've accepted that I'll never be more than a Medium player.

Playing guitar, I can usually stay within the 80-90% range on Hard, Expert gets alittle dicey at times.

I've recently been trying the drums too, which I can only handle on Medium so far.

BTW, Guitar Hero: Metallica just came out today, and it fucking rocks headbang

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy Guitar Hero World Tour versus Rock Band, anyone have any insight as to which one might be better? Smile

Some systems, the instruments are compatible, others, like the Wii, are not. Because the makers of Rock Band decided to not follow Nintendo's 'rules' about controllers, thereby making their instruments incompatible with Guitar Hero, I'm a Guitar Hero man all the way.
