The Pokémon Company has announced that a new Pokémon RPG will released by the end of this year for the Nintendo DS. According to Bulbagarden, the title will be an "inventive rebirth" of the series, and the development team is "doing their best to exceed every Pokémon game before now."
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, remakes of Game Boy Color's Gold and Silver, will hit retail on March 14th, and already a brand new title will drop by the end of 2010. No other details have been released.
I'm very curious about how much of a transition will be done with this release. All I have to say is put all of the Pokémon regions on the game card, new graphics and I'll be happy along with the other features. After this, I think they should take a break from the series... a long break at that.
What would you like to see in the latest installment?
