1 Pacquiao vs Mayweather on Wed May 26, 2010 3:22 am

Two great fighters with different styles. One the master of defense and the other the Typhoon of attack. Mayweather is currently undefeated at 41-0 (25 KOs) in 41 fights. Pacquiao is 51(w)-3(L)-2Drw (38 KOs) in 56 fights. This battle behind close doors is being attempted to be resurrected for a November showdown. So whats your opinion on the controversial drug testing and the drama behind the scenes?

Pacquiao has been bother by rumored drug use for sometime. People have questioned his rise in weight and if he did it in a clean way. I think he should submit himself to the testing. This is the ONLY fight that boxing has left. It has to happen.

Seriously, someone needs to beat Mayweather. I think Manny could pull it off.

Well, as most of you heard, Pacquiao has officially agreed to a 14 day cut off for blood testing 2 weeks ago(yahoo news/ ESPN), and minimum blood within as long as its not the night of the fight. Keep in mind , this was Mayweathers original demand (14 days) before the fight fell apart last January (pacquiao wanted 24 days). USADA who did the bloodtest for Mayweather and Mosley have released the blood test timeline and results. and it is not up to the fight as Mayweather stated. In fact according to ESPN, USADA last bloodtest for Mayweather was 19 days before the fight, Mosley, 18 days before the fight. So this means that FM jr is willing to fight Pac? Nope! Now Mayweather demands bloodtest all the way up to the fight, and a 60/40 cut of all profits. Mayweathers asking too much. Pacquiao called him out in public and im hopin Mayweather answers. The rise in weight is not unusual in a 10 year period. Compare the weights of Mayweather and Pacquiao on Wikipedia and you will see they rose in weight in a similar fashion. Remember, FM jr started his weight at 108 lbs, he is currently 155.

I REALLY hope they get this fight together very soon. It's basically the only boxing match left that's worth watching. Mayweather needs to stop bitching and just fight already.

Pacquiao would tear Mayweather apart. Mayweather is using drug testing to dodge a fight he knows he cant win. Pacquiao fights the best Mayweather pads his record on chumps. I wouldnt agree to let Mayweather and his uncle get someone to do a bunch of steroid testing on me if I were Manny. Would u trust your competition with doing your drug tests and then possibly altering the results? Boxing has its own testing and that should be good enough.

Good point, Mayweather is under Oscar Dela hoyas brand "Golden boy" he is an employee. the USADA president is a Golfing buddy of Oscar and Richard Schaefer. So yes there is the danger of a set up. This is one of Pacquiaos request that a neutral company do the drug testing for both of em, which i agree is smart. We all know how crooked the sport of boxing can be. I respect Mayweather and if anyone can beat Pac its him, but if anyone can beat May its def PAc. Of course these thing might just be physchological warfare from FM jrs camp.

Totally agreed. Mayweather is scared and in my opinion is dodging this fight.

Mayweather turned down 60 million for the fight that now looks to never happen. Oh well Pacquiao is the true champ by TKO. I honestly have not seen a single article or expert opinion that said Mayweather ever stood a chance in the fight. Pacquiao even agreed to be drug tested up to the night before the match so Mayweather has no excuses anymore.

Mayweather is a punk, a coward and now officially a paper champion.
