So, yeah, we're totally doing it again.

However, we need some feedback. Our sales for last year's calendar didn't exactly impress. We are, however, toying with the idea of getting the calendars made on our own, and not through CafePress. Let us know if you are planning to buy a Fangirl of the Month Calendar, and if the numbers are decent enough, we'll look into getting them printed ourselves. Otherwise, we'll just go through Cafe Press again.

What would you be willing to pay for a 2011 FGOTM Calendar?

I loved the 2010 calendar, I have no ideas on how i can be improved. I will defnitly be getting the 2011 one.

Not sure how feasible this is but what about including the birthday's of PoPulation members?
Or dates of nerdcentric events?

^If we get these made instead of CafePress, that's very much a possibility. It was kicked around last year, but Cafe Press doesn't allow that level of customization.

Hey, if you guys really want that, then we need enough people to express interest in buying a calendar so we can do it in house and tell Cafe Press to go screw. We're not getting fucked by Roddenberry's people this year like we did with Lucas's last!

I'll be getting at least a couple to give away to friends and family, as well as one for myself.

It was Cafe Press, but we had to go to Lucasfilm to get them to rescind.

The birthday thing is a cool idea, but you'd have to put EVERYBODY on there. I just wouldn't want somebody getting left out and being upset about it if they were newer to the site, or didn't post much. Maybe just do the PoP writers? I think convention dates are an awesome idea, and maybe the anniversary of PoP too. Don't forget Free Comic Book Day. Cosplay.com has a list of conventions in the US.

That was my initial concern when I presented the idea

I like those ideas... and I would buy it again.


Hopefully Adam sends us a free sketch after proof of purchase.
