Hello, everyone.
There is no other way to get around this, especially with the title above. In short, I'm leaving PoP! After a year and a half I've come to the conclusion that my time is up and I need to move on, go on my own path and make place for others. It was not an easy decision and I certainly feel sad about it, but I also made up my mind about it awhile ago and thus, my last column for PoP! will be published later this week (Thursday, to be precise; I also have something up tomorrow *cough shamelessplug cough*).
There's no much to get into, but all in all, it was my very own decision, accepted with much respect by my fellow PoP!Stars. I'm certain I leave the site and the forums in good hands, both of these I've shared this experience with from the beginning and latter additions. It means that yes, I'm also quitting my role as Chief Admin. I will remain an active forum member, as much as I can. As for writing, I'll most likely revive my defunct blog, on my own schedule.
I would like to thank (and apologize for any wrongs I've done to) everyone on the PoP! staff, past and present: Lee Rodriguez, Jason "Mnemosis" Kerouac, Jason "Silent K" Knize, Ben "Debaser" Gilbert, Robert "rwe113" Eddleman, Thacher "Demonweasel" Cleveland, Jose "Tainted Films" Guzman, Nicole Rodriguez, Jamie "Tripper McGee" Doles, Matt "Esbat" Cavazos and Justin "Metal Misfit" Walden. I'd also like to thank those who were directly and indirectly part in creating Panels on Pages: Jim Gibbons, Brian Cunningham, Sal Loria (not only was he an early part of this group, he was also the one to recommend me for the Wizard gig, and without it I would've never got into cahoots with the people mentioned earlier), Eric Moya (he was my first Wizard connection back when I started), Josh Wigler and Andy Serwin. Last but definitely not least, I want to thank to anyone who read my articles or supported PoP! (even without reading my stuff). Whether you agreed with me or we got into ugly debates, I cherish everything.
