That was a good article. It's true, they have gotten kind out of hand with it. His healing factor should be at the level where it's impressive, but not ridiculous. I liked the old stories, like you alluded to, where Wolvie would have misgivings about heading into situations due tot he fact that he knew he could end up dead.

Even in older continuity there was a long length of time where Wolverine required a lot of protien in his diet to maintain his healing factor. The explination was better than most. The healing factor used a form of excelerated metabolism and required the protein to work. We have come leaps and bounde from that era of the Clawed Canuck. For the record, I too am in favor of round/teardrop claws.
