What I used for the bagpipe music was from Braveheart, a song called "For the Love of a Princess". I thought the title was appropriate.

I have to host anime events at the store I work at, and one of the things I do is anime trivia. One of the things was "sing the whole Excalibur song". I was so happy somebody brought a video camera to film/embarrass the kid that got it.

my local store is having an anime night soon I'm almost tempted to cosplay as death the kid (err after hes eaten a lot of burgers)

Go as Death instead. Big black cloak thing, and make a mask like is and giant gloves. Easy.

Thrift stores gross me out. :p Besides the ones around here only carry cruddy tshirts and plus sized 80's clothes. For some reason, all I ever see is synthetic fabric in bizarre patterns and they smell like moth balls. I don't know who these people are that say they have fantastic luck at thrift stores, I am not one of them. I'm totally going to listen to the podcast though.

The Happiness Patrol has quickly become one of my favorites simply for the opening music. It's a very catchy version of the Doctor Who theme. My brother has some great luck at thrift shops and there are a lot of good ones in New York so I guess that helps too. He once bought this really awesome leather jacket for a very good price. One of the hosts of the Happiness Patrol knits 4th Doctor scarves and made her very own life-size TARDIS. It's pretty sweet.
