Last April/June I downloaded the entire series and was slowly working my way through it. I was a little saddened when I realized how soon the Bobgat Golthwait/Buddy Rickles episode (with the ventriloquist dummy)was in the series. It's really one of the heights of the whole thing, and I began to worry that they peaked too soon. I watched into season 3 and then kind of lost interest, but I should go back and give it another try. It really was the height of greatness when I was a kid.

I've heard about a possibly sequel to Behind the Mask for some time now. I'd rather they didnt make a sequel as I dont see a need for it all.

I agree it got a little hit and miss at times. But overall it was a solid show. I too have found memories of staying up watching it.

I don't think it needs a sequel either.

Watched Inside (À l'intérieur)

My thoughts.... FUCK!! Shocked

Four months after the death of her husband, a woman on the brink of motherhood is tormented in her home by a strange woman who wants her unborn baby.

Lots of extreme gore, suspense and tension and great use of sound and cinematography. Its very disturbing but I highly recommend it to hardcore horror fan.

I watched this on Monday.
It was good. Not in my Top 10 but highly enjoyable.
Weird score but not in a bad way.
I loved the opening scene with the dude pulling the maniac 'trading cards' from the cow skull. Very Happy
I'm drawing a blank on the kid's name but she was a really enjoyable character.

I caught The House of the Devil over the weekend.
Pretty much loved. it.

It's shot in a late 70's/early 80's style and the first 15 minutes of the film or so are just kind of showing this off. (Admittedly, it is really well done.) Then there's a real slow, tense burn throughout with a really cool/disturbing payoff at the end. Comparatively, I'd hold it up to Rosemary's Baby or The Shining.

The characters and their actions were, for the most part, really believable. The film trusts the audience enough to simply provide clues as to what's really going on so you're sort of discovering the whole picture as the main character does. (Although, most horror fans should pick it up before.)

4 1/2 out of five sacrificial lambs.

saw Night of the Demons (2010) and Hatchet. Night was fun but Hatchet was way overhyped.

How's the remake of Night of the Demons in comparison to the original?

Better, worse, same?

I'm hesitant to check it out as the original's probably in my top 20 horror flicks.

I thought Hatchet was OK (nothing special tho), but that won't stop me from watching Hatchet 2. Got to show my support for Danielle Harris, Tony Todd and Kane Hodder!

meh thought it was an ok spoof on slasher movies (the Friday the 13th series in particular) but it didn't really do anything for me. you know like shovel the driveway. I want horror movies that I rent to be able to walk around and do stuff. jk watched it mainly for Kane Hodder's performance and the various horror cameos. some of the actors playing the main characters got on my nerves for some reason.

I watched it a while back and I really liked it. It was so authentic in it's 70s/80s loom that only the age of the actor who played the dad (and was Kaine in Robocop 2) made me believe that Netflix didn't have a typo in the date.

I loved that it was old school special effects and no CGI.

I recently caught up on Halloween and Halloween 2, both the original's and Rob Zombie's versions. I dug the originals as well as the first remake. While I didn't love the second remake, I didn't hate it either. There were some really cool parts to it (along with some really dumb parts).

Above average. Good effects, decent actors, some good PG-13 jump scares.
I caught it on SyFy so I don't know if I might have enjoyed more if the pacing and cursing weren't altered.
