Yeah, I saw this list a while back on sescoops before the DVD was released. HUGE controversy. It's more of the standard VKM favorites game. Hogan at #23?? Rey at 9??

The Top 3 is and always should be, in no particular order, Hogan, Rock, Stone Cold.

No, that top three is what I was going to do. I'll have to think on this a bit, but I'll definitely have a better list.

Mysterio at nine and Batista on the list at all both confuse the shit outta me. I'm not an oldschool aficionado or anything, but those seem wrong to me right off the bat. I'd also have to agree with Knize's top three. Beyond that, there's not a WHOLE lot I have to say about the list.

Frankly, I think a "Top 50" list is ridiculous. Unless you break the list down into subcategories, what's the differentiation between number 40 and number 50. Top ten? SURE. Hell, even top 25.

Those names HAVE to be on the list. While a lot of modern day fans don't know who they are they made huge contributions to wrestling. In his time Gorgeous George was the Rock/Stone Cold of his time. It's not easy for this generation to put an all time list without really favoring those we saw growing up.

I understand the need for reverence of the past, but we're talking SUPERSTARS. I'd say using that definition alone, the list should be exclusively post-WM1.

In WWE terms Superstar is synonomous with wrestler. The term Superstar is WWE jargon.

Hogan at #23 is criminal, as is Rey Mysterio at #9! And how the heck is Eddie Guerrero #11...ahead of Triple H, Foley, etc?? This is insane.

I understand that...but still...this list should be made up of names that the most casual wrestling fan could pick out of a lineup. They have the WWE Hall of Fame to give credit to the old timers.
