I know Jeffro had a post about this last year and it influenced me to join this year. So here's my goal.
I joined a gym at the begining of this month and got a trainer, then I told him about this and he got all excited because he lives a few minutes away from where its held so he told me he would run it with me and at the same time help me in what areas of my body I need to work on.
1) its a 5k run with obstacles: This week I just been doing the cardio by running the treadmill for an hour and my legs are sore already. They were sore when I started the training earlier this month but that was because I was using the bike. Now I have to make it up to 3 to 5 miles on the treadmill.
2) jump some logs, cars, and climb a cargo net: I started the year at 225 lbs and the reason I joined the gym was to lose weight and not look like my facebook pic at this years c2e2 so he started me on basic weight stuff to help me lose the gut. But now that I have this as a goal, my routine will change to add upper body strength as well as abs and lower back.
3) its in June, my registration starts in May, so for those in the midwest interested in joining or atleast coming out and 'showing some support' would be awesome. I'm gonna buy some new PoP! Swag and run this challenge. Plus I been tweeting about this mad crazy.
