Just curious, how many of you guys read Dark Horse fare? I love it, but seeing it listed under Independent Comics here made me wonder.

I get the Dark Horse stuff in trade format, I love the Omnibus's they put out. I pick up the Star Wars ones when they come out. Also the Buffy stuff I read as well.

None of their titles have ever looked interesting enough to me try anything other than Star Wars and Conan (trade only). Wasn't really impressed.

^ That is the most classic line from Goon. And the only story-arc I've read. Borrowed from a friend. Seems like a cool series.

I read Hellboy/B.P.R.D. comics. I get, and need to really catch up, on DH's Star Wars in trades.

Buffy & Umbrella Academy for me. Sugarshock was awesome. Hopefully the one-shot reprint will sell well and merit more. Oh, and I'm eagerly awaiting the Dr. Horrible one-shot, too.

I read the occasional Hellboy mini series, and I check out The Goon every now and then. I need to check out BPRD and Umbrella Academy, and Beasts of Burden looks interesting.

I read a healthy helping of Dark Horse books.

I swear that each month I end buying more books from them than any other publisher.

Has it really been 2 years since it was online? Wow. I still have to reread it in hardcopy.

That's what I'm talking about! It's almost as if they are the Dark Horse candidate in your comic buying election. Right on!

A rave review of the Abe Sapien One-Shot from this week is up on PoP! Check it out!

Man, I can't wait to read this! Anyone else check it out and enjoy it? I've been too busy to get to my local shop and grab it.

PoP! also had a rad review of the Sugarshock One-Shot as well. Check that here! I mean, Whedon and Fabio Moon?! That is a done deal for one of the greatest comics ever, no?!

(Answer: It definitely is.)

I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail, but I'm pretty excited. I'd love to see more Abe solo stories.

Star Wars: Legacy is a really great book. Since it's set so far in the future of the Star Wars Timeline, it allows for a lot more freedom that most of the other titles.
