While I can kind of see where Spangler is coming from with the whole "WOW" moment, I have to say, enjoy the con. First and formost, the con is about us.

My con WOW moments happen at the con itself. For example, while last year the Kick Ass thing was amazing for me, especially when I knew I was going to it (HUGE THANKS TO GEM!!!), my actual WOW moment for me was the expierence of that weekend. Meeting a drunk George R. R. Martin, talking Mel Brooks to Max Brooks, hanging with the PoP! crew, seeing actul booths from the major publishers after being let down by not seeing them at Wizard World in 2009. WOW moments are not planned, they just happen.

I'm driving to Regina the weekend of the 12th, going to Calgary for the weekend of the 16th of April, BACK to Regina the weekend of the 7th of May, possibly going to Hawaii in the summer, and then PoP!toberfest in October. I totes can't afford it.

I've been to Hawaii. C2E2 is better.

After driving all over town hitting different shops and even having to return a book I bought as a consolation prize, I finally found the perfect sketchbook to start my first theme book: Jonah Hex.

It'll be nice to have multiple sketchbooks to shop around so I can maximize my sketch opportunities at cons.
