Kill Shakespeare

Here's K-Wack's review of #1.

I thought it was an interesting first issue. I love the concept of Shakespeare's characters interacting. And hunting down the Bard himself, apparently.

I've never been a huge fan of Willy's, but I have been in quite a number of his plays. Hopefully someone I've played will show up.

This book made me buy A Midsummer Night's Dream to start getting caught up on the Shakespeare I never read before. THAT promptly put me to sleep at the airport, but I'd been up since 5:30 so I'm willing to believe it wasn't the Bard's fault.

I was in Midsummer, as Robin Starvling the Tailor AKA The Moon. I had a live dog on stage. Good times.

Heh, no actually. It's why I hesitated, because it's likely the one I already know the most about. But then I thought, it IS the one I'm most curious about, so...

Solid second issue. Oh Iago, you're nothing if not predictable. And Falstaff should liven things up a bit.

I have not been able to find a copy of this yet but I want to read it. What number is it up to now?

Just two issues have been released so far.

#3 was good stuff. Falstaff is great, and the cameo by Puck was cool.

I need to start reading this. Sounds right up my alley.

#4 was good. Juliet took a level in bad-ass.

#5 continues the fun.

#6: Oh Iago, you scamp.

#7: Eh, not that great an issue, but a necessary "self-discovery" one.

#8: Smoochies & strangulation. What's not to love?

#9: Finally we meet the Maker.

Ive seen the first tpb of the series in Walmart, should I get it?

It's a lot of fun, but it helps to have at least a passing knowledge of a few of Shakespeare's works to get all the references. It's not a requirement, as I think the story stands on it's own, but it's an acquired taste.
