Cliff, gotta say... the new Ray is gorgeous! Better sculpt, better articulation, better... dare I say it... stance!

From what I heard, all the Ghostbusters are sharing a body? Lame-o, but they still rock!

For 20 bucks a figure I ... figured, heh, that I could get a slightly paunchy Ray, a beefy Winston, a rail thin Egon, and a solid regular bodied Venkeman. But due to the body reuse issue I'll be picking up just my two faves... Winston and Venkman.

Judging by Cliff's pics, Ray just seems way too glossy, and I don't think he had that facial expression ONCE in the movies.

I would've liked a face more like this:

Also when he picks the Destoryer.

And the glossy issue has been plaguing the Four Horsemen's work since the Adam Strange/Starfire 2 pack. I should know, my spaceman's face is pink and shiny.

Either way, I don't care. I have a Ray figure!!!

Although, it kinda torques my cheese to know that while Egon sold out within the first two days of release on MattyCollector (missed him by a DAY, gorrammit!!), Ray's still a peg-warmer, still available after nearly a full month after release.

Which means I have to look on the secondary market and shell out nearly 40 to 50 bones to pick up Egon. *sigh* Damn scalping comicon vendors....

I love this thread. Remind me to take pictures of all my old toys when I go back to California at the end of December.

And when I say all, I mean the classics 80's through 90's action figures.
