This was a solid start. It was good to see Psylocke's interactions with the team after so long (espcially Logan). And how her philosophy is so different than some of the other X-Men, mainly the youngins. Its good to see her mild telepathy back, but hopefully she doesn't start using it too much cuz I much rather see her using her amazing fighting skills and psi-blades.

The backup with Cable and Hope was basically more of the same: Cable teaching lil Hope survival tactics and stuff. Nothing special.

I solicited it but put it back. Your review doesn't make me wanna run out and get it either. Good. I get too many books. I need for some to start sucking. Bad.

Yeah it wasn't anything special, I've just always been partial to Psylocke. Plus the cover was very...

I love her too. Just can't any more books unless they're awesome. Dr. Voodoo is pretty awesome.

Anyone read this?

Psylock #1

I really liked this. I've liked Psylocke for a while (since I read some of the 90s X-Men stuff), but I haven't had a whole lot of exposure to her. I really liked her here. She's quite the badass. If they continue to portray her like this she could very well become one of my favorite characters.

I loved the art as well.

I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series.

As part my 50% tolerance act, I skipped this but I heard it sold out so that's cool I guess.

Eh. I didn't see that, and I figured it was fine for it to have it's own thread. I don't like lumping a ton of books together in one thread. Plus, the thread doesn't actually mention Psylocke so no one will know it's being talked about without searching threads.

I thought the second issue was fantastic. I LOVED it. Psylocke is indeed becoming one of my favorites. The art was gorgeous as well. I kinda want Psylocke to get her own ongoing.

It stinks that lower-tier books like this never get reviewed from websites and hardly garner any attention. Most of the popular books don't need reviews since most fans are going to buy them; we need more press for smaller books!

You have a point. Lucky for us PoP! isn't a run of the mill website. They did review Psylocke #2.

I picked it up by fluke. I was out of town for work and wandered into a comic store. I wasn't going to pick up anything as I knew my lcs had my pulls already in my file. Really had an itch to buy something and there it was Psylocke #1. Had a real nostalgic feeling for me as Psylocke was my fictional character crush when I was in the 3rd grade in the 90's.

I'm liking it so far and just wish it was more than just 4 issues.

#4 was a decent finale. Psylocke vs Wolverine was definitely a plus. And its good to see Psylocke finally got her revenge on Matsu'o.
