I'm working on a series of prints as a gift, and what
I'm basically doing is a creating fake Nintendo start up screens. For you artists,
is there a way to pixelate a photo in a
way that replicates that fakey NES portrait look,
or is it a freehand kind of thing? I could just use a pixel filter in photoshop but anti-aliasing is a problem with these 8-bit replication things...

Posterize might be an option..?

Not sure. There's alot more people on here more skilled than I in PS.

You may want to PM Airwolf or Lee. I think they work extensively in it.
