New guy's art stuff

Anyways I thought I would share a bit of my work with you fine people since only a few of my real friends like the comics.

I'm a full time "Colorist Assistant" for a few studios *cough* hi-fi *cough* and colorist's ranging from DC to Marvel to IDW and even some creator owned stuff here and there. Lately I've been working on my own coloring styles and posting them on the internet's because it makes me feel happy inside.

All of these were for practice but I might start looking for some Indy coloring work soon if I ever get any time.

I dig it, man. It's got a very watercolor look to it.

Thanks, I've been messing around with a lot of "Painterly" styles, just get kinda sick of seeing the handful of "Right" ways to do it. Also working more on getting my graphic design background in my colors with texture and what not.

Got some time off work so I figured I would use that crimey sort of style on a full piece.

I'm re working this one, so far it looks sick as hell but I have a feeling it will take a while

A bit more progress, I finally figured out why I color the way I do, If a 7 year old version of me seen this kind of Lobo the world would never be the same.

Man, I like that alot better! Nice work. I'm wicked impressed. Makes me wanna go home and fire up photoshop and do some coloring.

I think I'm calling this one done, I would be a millionare colorist if this was 1992, lol.

Colored up some Mary Marvel and Supergirl for local artist Rusty Shackles, I musta colored supes 100 times and still didn't get it 100% but I dig MM though.
