Ghost Riders: Heavens on Fire #5

Just an amazing issue. This is by far the most slept-on comic going. I'm shocked that no one is reviewing/blogging/responding/buying or keeping this great run from Jason Aaron going. I mean...this book has everything in it. It's a b-movie dream. Perhaps it was a mistake making Ghost Rider(s) a 6-issue mini with a $4 tag. Maybe that's what's keeping even die-hard Aaron/GR fans away. Or maybe people are reading this quietly, accepting all this magically and keeping it at a low pro. The build-up in recent issues has been steady, but nothing as strong as the peak of Aaron's run. That can be erased. This confrontation between Ezekiel and the Riders is finally coming to a close, with all the players making an impact. The next issue should be grand-shattering, heart-melting and forever memorable.

Just a shame no one else will know.

4.5/5 Bags&Boards - Aaron's best issue of G.R. in at least 6-7 months.

I love this book. I'm sad to see it end, but I am glad that they aren't giving it to somebody else after Aaron's run.

I've been waiting till it finishes to read it all at once. It has been very quiet, I will say.

Really good last issue. I wish it would've been a bit longer, but oh well. I was kinda hoping for some sort of thing written by Aaron at the end talking about his time on the book or something along the lines of that.
