Since there's a Power Rangers thread, I thought I'd make this one.
This is a thread for the original Japanese versions, as well as Kamen Rider and Metal Heroes (Think Big Bad Beetle Borgs).
I've got links for anyone interested in checking the shows out.TV-Nihon is your best/only option for most of these shows. Tv-Nihon's subs may not be the greatest, but beggars can't be choosers. They've also got most of the Heisei Kamen Rider series, though for Kuuga, I'd go with Midnight Crew Subs and for W and OOO, I'd go with Over-Time. For Agito, send me a message and I'll dig up the links for you.
I'm not too knowledgable about Super Sentai, but if anyone's interested in Kamen Rider, most of the series aren't connected, and you can really just pick a series and start with it. The only ones that are connected are Kuuga and Agito - Agito is set in the same world, and Decade crosses over with W, but it's not necessary to watch decade to understand it. OOO and W are in the same world, and while you can watch OOO on it's own, I highly reccomend W - It's a fantastic series, and there are some plot threads that tie into OOO.
One more thing, the newest sentai series, Gokaiger, has just premiered a few hours ago. They are pirates. The leader's name is Captain Marvelous, and they travel to the worlds of all the different series and can transform into previous team members. It is glorious. TV-Nihon is definitely going to sub it, and it's likely that Over-Time and Midnight Crew will as well.
