Her new monthly rocks. I like seeing her in her civvies trying to be normal. I don't know why but its more interesting to see her try to create this normal life when her life is ANYTHING but normal. I mean she's more Alien and different than even Supes, she's from a Universe that no longer even exists. The current Earth-2 already has a Power Girl. So she's entirely displaced and her only connection to that existence is the Black Lantern Superman.

did you know that Palmiotti and Conner did a scene in PG where Harold from Big Bang Therory made a cameo?

Never noticed. Never got into that show. Comes off as basically being a cliched sitcom with nerd stereotypes. Clever?
Speaking of Cameos, the first page, bottom panel, has the news-stand guy and black kid, reader of The Black Freighter, in it.

Anyways, love PG. It is one my top 5 from DC right now.

Haven't picked it up. In regards to BBT, I think you need to give it another shot. It's one of my wife's favorite shows, but it did take me some time to get into it myself. Hell the guy who plays Sheldon on the show was on AOTS and did great. Back on topic, hearing Terra's back might make me pick up some Power Girl. I'll admit, I've always enjoyed the look of the character, but never got into many stories. Could be I was too young when I was introduced to her?

Terra 1-4 is a good place to start, so Is PG #1 or PG #4. So far its a pretty accessible series.

Just read issue #5 and it was a pretty cool read. Can't wait till next issue when they get more into the Space Girls (Gone Wild). Heh. I'm wondering about the pictures. I can understand her not being able to hear it, in a sense, due to all the calamity, but I think it is someone she knows. Personally, the new girl, Alice Cohen. Could be for misdirection, but who knows.

Also, I remember wondering, and many others on the DCMB, about her cat's color change, and then they cleaned. Conveniently. Heh. Probably read some of the minor complaints. Thing is, now it is a dark orange rather than dark vanilla.

really? never really gave it much thought before, the preveiw didn't make me like it too much. I really like Conner's work on the Supergirl feature in Wendsday Comics she made Supergirl hot and cute but not too sexy. How was the Terra mini?

It was a great introduction to the New/Original Terra while setting up Power Girl's new status quo.

For some of us, Alice isn't a new character. Wink

Just finished reading. Terra's a great character. Need to find her mini. The alien girls gone wild ends and starts a new jumping on point for readers if you've been wondering about the series.

I enjoy how they go and see movies, and that they are parodies of films out there. The Hot Chick and The Fat Guy was a cut on Knocked Up with what seemed like Kill Bill's Bride.

#7 was great. I've always liked the interplay between Kara & Mid-Nite, and her interaction with Vartox was damn funny.
