When he started on Power Rangers, he was a competition champ in Tang Soo Do IIRC. Tang Soo Do is considered a high-level Korean fighting style and unlike it's counterpart Tae Kwon Do hasn't been watered down over years of being taught to ten-year olds or made viable for competition without high risk for loss of life. Perhaps the most famous Tang Soo Do practicioner in the US is Chuck Norris. IIRC, along with Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, Tang Soo Do forms the three big systems in Korea. The only other Eastern country to Korea I've seen more dedicated to martial arts is Thailand and its Muay Thai.

MMA is a different world. He definitely has a chance. It's going to be interesting to see how he fights off of his back.

Ok. Lets all fess up. Tommy was awesome. The Green Ranger was awesome. He pulled out a flute to summon a robot and it was still awesome. Like K-Nice pointed out, dude is a legit martial artist. I think he'll be fantastic.

Billy was gold. But still amazing. I think Jason was gold as well for like 3 episodes.
