Old School had two or three great scenes and the rest was just so-so. I'm hoping The Hangover has a better great-to-blah ratio.

Outside of the awesome reference to The Graduate and the wonderful appearance of The Dan Band, it felt like a pretty sophomoric affair. I don't know which oft-repeated line irks me more, "We're going streaking!" or "You're my boy, Blue!" Old School is made of Win. The actors elevate it to comedy classic. Anyone else in that movie and it'd probabaly be annoying, but with the cast it has, it's just super fun. Everytime I watch it, I still laugh like I did when I first saw it. The dart in neck scene, the exchange with the crab driver, everything about it makes me giggle. It's not smart by any means, but not all humour has to be. And like I said, it holds up really well for me. I recently watched Borat again, since seeing it in theaters (I bought it when it came out and never watched it) and I didn't laugh once. I cracked up the first time, like tears rolling down my face, this time, it was just... old already. Old School doesn't do that to me.
I'm a sucker for Will Ferrel though.
