C2E2 Cosplay Groups

Anyone interested in doing group cosplay at C2E2 should post here. Tenime and I already have a couple of costumes planned and I'm interested to see if anyone is wanting to do some group cosplay as well? The G.I. Joe thing was just too much fun at CCC!! We were a hit and it's fun to be in an organized group because it draws attention when effort is put into it.

I'm up for doing a day of Scott Pilgrim cosplay before it becomes as popular as Napoleon Dynamite or Twilight. Anyone want to join in? If you don't know what I'm talking about you should really read the graphic novels. It's way better than I expected. The benefit of this cosplay is that the characters dress in regular-people clothes, so with enough time, you might be able to find most of the items at Goodwill or Salvation Army. It's one of those things that I love but don't really want to do by myself because I don't think many people would know who I was supposed to be. I want to make sure I cosplay something that I like, and that others like and recognize so it makes their day too.

Really can't wait to see what you guys have in mind! For this con though, I'm just gonna be Spidey and Chuck.

Im gonna start looking into Scott Pilgrim and see what I can come up with. Is there a Mexican ex-boyfriend in there? lol

On another note, I can be Pedro or The Comedian.

If anyone's planning a Vertigo group, I'm hoping to cosplay as John Constantine.

Mmm... I don't remember there being a Mexican character but then again it's all done in black and white so it's hard to tell for sure. lol I'm sure when you read the novels, a character will stand out. On a side note, someone HAS to be Wallace, the gay roommate! lol

I have never cosplayed, but always admired those that do. I have no sewing skills nor do I have any money to commision or buy something, would love to do it though. I will page through Scott Pilgrim and see if there is something I can work with.

Well, I think you were going to be a particular Spider-Villain. I thought the idea was that we were going to have a whole army of Marvel Villains, I was going as the Hood, and Lee was gonna be Osborn.

okay so im doing some research on Scott Pilgrim and im digging Lucas Lee, just a flat out 5 o clock shadow, black shirt with blue jeans perhaps and a skateboard.

Yeah, I REALLY wouldn't hold m breath on that, if I were you. I promise NOTHING.

All I know is I'm bringing my John Crichton outfit to C2E2. That took me way to long to make for just one night of glory in it.
