Most people have a band or artist that they listen to that no one ever seems to have heard of so feel free to introduce them here. I recall coming across new bands and artists from similar threads so it could be of some use and alot of fun. Wink

Memphis, Tennesee's own Lucero, the greatest rock band you've probably never heard of.

I put together a good list with vids but I guess I timed out so here's a short list of it. Some of these you may have heard of but most people I know are entirely oblivious to these guys.

Bellafea

Caustic Resin

Federation X

Beirut

Whores of Tijuana

The White Rabbits

The Toadies - Are these guys known? They only seem to be known in Texas (Houston mostly). Beyond there, everyone seems oblivious to them.

Songs-Ohia

Mogwai

I know I forgot some but I'll come up more if I recall any. Wink

Hm...probably Regency Buck and Union of Knives-both only release one album but amazing Electronica bands. Regency Buck's Deliverance is very rare and I'm happy to have order the album off eBay.

They had a Top 10 hit with "Possum Kingdom"...Had 4 other songs in the Top 40...Sold over a million copies of Rubberneck...Had a song in Guitar Hero.

Just my opinion...but I'd say they're pretty well known.

See? They should be well-known. I knew I wasn't crazy when I originally thought so. My friends who didn't know them are uncultured ( Laughing ) or were trolling me. shake my head
