Most people have a band or artist that they listen to that no one ever seems to have heard of so feel free to introduce them here. I recall coming across new bands and artists from similar threads so it could be of some use and alot of fun.

Hm...probably Regency Buck and Union of Knives-both only release one album but amazing Electronica bands. Regency Buck's Deliverance is very rare and I'm happy to have order the album off eBay.

They had a Top 10 hit with "Possum Kingdom"...Had 4 other songs in the Top 40...Sold over a million copies of Rubberneck...Had a song in Guitar Hero.

Just my opinion...but I'd say they're pretty well known.

See? They should be well-known. I knew I wasn't crazy when I originally thought so. My friends who didn't know them are uncultured ( ) or were trolling me.

I usually find out about bands I've never heard of through Paste magazine.

La Blogotheque has some good fairly unknown bands as well.
