ATTENTION ARTISTS: C2E2 Family Fun Day at Navy Pier, Chicago, IL.

Hey Everyone.

Jaime Rosov and Kimberly Mueller from C2E2 have asked me to appear as Spidey during Navy Pier's Family Fun Day. C2E2 will have a booth there to promote the con for April. Just like they did at various comic book locations last year. Kearstin, Jess and my other friend Jessica have also agreed to appear in costume to help promote C2E2.

I asked Jaime if there was anything else I could do and suggested if any artist would be needed. She seemed very excited to hear about that and asked what would they do, I just figured it would be a good way for some chicago based artists to get out there and show your work and help promote what is going to be a huge con come april. Sell some work, show that comic book goodness, draw some sketches..Good PR for you guys, so if any artists are interested, let me know. The event will be Family Fun Day event at Navy Pier on March 27-28.

Any artist interested??! It's a good way to get your name out there guys....ssseeeee? I think of you!

Just wondering does C2E2 have anything planed for kids at the con?/after con? Im bringing both of my kids, just thought id ask since you seem to be tight with them.

I'm going to try to make it down for this, too, and spread the love firsthand. no reason Pete should have to do all the heavy lifting

C2E2 doesn't have anything planned....yet. Details are still bein worked out, you could say they are brain storming.

The event itself, plenty of stuff to do with your kids.

FYI: Kearstin and Jess will be there as Jean and Rogue on Saturday and on Sunday I'll be there as Spidey and my friend Jessica (who hasn't decided what costume yet) will be there in costume to.

just wondering a few things, 1 can we submit colored works if we want to? 2 is it free (seriously doubt that it is) and if it's not how much 2 set up our stuff? 3 is there a limit to what we submit/or is this kinda like walk in bring u'r portfolio and show wat we got?

It's not something to bring your portfolio and show what you got. More like draw some sketches and maybe sell a little bit of what you got. Maybe make a print for c2e2 to give out or a sketch card. Again, you won't be paid, the cosplayers aren't getting paid if that's what you are looking for, but it mainly something to help promote and help get your artwork out there.

Hey Pete! Lee just asked me about this - I think it sounds fun!

Count us three in. But, you have to make sure that we get to see you in costume - Zoe would get SUCH a kick of of seeing Spidy. She knows exactly who that is.

You mentioned 3/27 and 3/28 -- we'll have to work on 3/27, but we'll make it out on 3/28.

Whoa..I'm come to the realization that I'm afraid Zoe is going to see me, freak out and start crying. I hate it when that happens.

Usually Sunday is Kids Day at NYCC. If they follow the same format then that should be the case @ C2E2. The day is loaded with stuff for the kids to do.

Yes, im going to Navy Pier, but a few cousins wanna go to C2E2, yet if the price for the tickets at Navy Pier is cheaper, then they should come over and buy them. Also, big deal with the tax returns that is making me want to buy more than just 1 item at the PoP! store.
