Tinley Park, IL Comic Book Show.

Hi Ho. lol

Just got back from the Tinley Park Comic Book Show and who did I happen to run into. Our very own POP!-Star, Lee. He made some banners to support POP! which I Have one and should of asked him to sign!!! Anways POP! is definately getting out into the community, while parading in my (updated) costume, hehe. I actually took a stack of those fliers and passed them out to people, way of supporting POP!

Really friendly cool people were at this small con. Going to a con like this, there is a lot of elbow room and very kid friendly. It was fun and hope to see some pics very soon. Lee did a great job advertising POP! Plus it was the actual test con to show off the updated spider costume. Had a good time to say and all.

Good job, the both of youse!

*cries* I wanted to go....

One thing is for sure, POP! was passed around.

At Steak n Shake!

Yeah, it was a good time, for sure. I was a little sleep-deprived and the drive was LONNNNNG, but it was totally worth it. I shot some video and got an interview with the guy who organized the whole thing and some pics and whatnot. Spidey was even nice enough to help me with the intro video. I figure I'll have the whole thing cut and uploaded by the end of the week. Adding graphics takes awhile.

Support this kind of thing, guys. No, it's not as glamorous as the big-name shows, but it's a lot of fun and more vital to the industry than you might think. These things can sometimes make or break a dealer. Admission here was a buck and most of the books were dollar and quarter books, so you could get a lot for your money at a place like this.

And besides, you never know who you might meet.

She and her friend arrived at around 12:30pm. Storm was a little later, bad weather. lol.

Ran into some technical difficulties. Shooting for mid-to-end of the week now. Gotta love this bold new world.

Is the vid ready yet?

Most of the intro needs to be drastically recut due to wind that day (and my super shitty microphone which has since then been upgraded). I'm hoping to have it done soon, but I've been pulled in a million different direction lately, mostly trying to get the podcast up and running. It's coming, though. Don't worry.
