The AC died recently, I think "She's 10 years old, it must need recharged." NOPE, nothing as simple as that. A wiring harness has become corroded, the cost to replace that part $400, installation $200. I don't need AC that much. I'm an open window kind of girl anyway.

I've never had any repair on her be less than a couple hundred bucks. So, yeah, that's my horror story.

My Honda Civic is a BEAST. XD

I'd never give my Volksweasel up. My 20 year old Nissan 300ZX is the car that gives me the $1,700 repair bills and you couldn't get any sexual stimulation from anyone while in that car.

AH they fixed that. The front seat lays completely flat if you crank it back far enough The stick shift gets in the way but that was my choice not the manufacturers.

Also, the horn won't honk unless the keys are in the ignition.

I swear there was a meeting where they said; "Ok this back seat is gonna be unusable for sex so what can we do to fix that?"

And right now all I've been listening to is Glee, Madonna, Rent and weird mashups. You'd be leaving me on the side of the road somewhere west of Dayton.

And Mary, that timeline works for me. I can leave a little early that Friday, and you in Cincy by 6:30 gets me back in the Springs around 5:30? That gives me plenty of time to pre-show (and I can do some work in the car, I'm sure).

My house is super easy to get to and I'm just off of 465. It doesn't take my buddy from Dayton much time to get here. Traffic is non-existent on this side of the city. Also, as an FYI, Daisy keeps a clean house and you don't have to worry about visiting a dump. We can take care of you folks. We will have a blast.

http://us.megabus.com/ - we can pick up people from the bus station downtown. Also, MegaBus is cool, the drivers stay at our hotel.

The plans aren't concrete yet. We're doing stuff starting Friday night all the way up to Monday morning it sounds like. We plan on doing the most stuff (Broad Ripple adventure) on Saturday when we know the most people will be here.

I sent a message to some of the attendees on Facebook but just in case you're not on there, I can get rooms for people at my hotel for $58.51 (that's with tax, free hot breakfast, free wi-fi, microwave/fridge in room, + extra stuff) and it's only 1.5 miles from our house. That's just if you'd be more comfortable in your own room, having your own bed, and for people who might be allergic to our dog or cats. But then also keep in mind that our hotel allows pets for free and a pet-free room isn't guaranteed. Just an option. Plus if we get too many cars in our cul-de-sac, we can park cars at the hotel for free and I'll chauffeur people.

We assume there will be some gallivanting around downtown maybe on Sunday? We're not sure at this point.
