College Football 2010 Season

Lets talk some college football folks!


So far #1 Alabama has looked pretty dominant. #2 Ohio State and #3 Oregon also look like top contenders to play for the National Championship...and don't forget about Boise State. The next couple months should be wild.



My #12 LSU Tigers are 5-0 but haven't looked very good...mainly because of poor quarterback play and incompetent coaching by Les Miles (like the debacle at the end of the Tennessee game last week), which is a shame cuz LSU's defense might be the best in the country this year.

My Iowa Hawkeyes are sitting at #15.

I still think we can make some noise in the Big 10.

And just like that Bama is down to South Carolina 21-9 at the half!

Could the Tide be upset? Or will the Cocks blow it...

I suppose we'll find out if Alabama can be a second half team again or if we'll have a new #1 come tomorrow.

Yup. If your Hawkeyes can pull off an upset on the Buckeyes in a few weeks then you guys got a shot at the Big Ten.

Well, Bama lost! Big shake up in the top 5 to come. Looks like the Buckeyes and Ducks control their own destinies now...win out and they're in the BCS Championship game.

I would love to say something about how Oregon would roll over OSU in the BCS Champ game, but I thought the Rose Bowl would go like that too, and it ended up being quite the opposite of the outcome I expected.

I guess PoP!ers aren't as big on college football as they are the NFL.

Anyway, the bowls have been pretty damn good so far. The Big Ten has gotten dominated in a few games lol. But tonight's Sugar Bowl, Ohio State vs Arkansas should be a great game.

And Auburn vs Oregon for the National Championship is almost here!

I enjoy the college game but all that NCAA non sense and the lack of a playoff system pisses me off. I hope Ohio State loses. It's a slap in the face that Tressel had those 5 players "promise" to come back so that they can be suspended for the first 5 games of next season lol. That is a joke.

Hell of a Sugar Bowl! Ohio State jumped all over Arkansas early, but the Hogs stormed back and almost won! Great game. And the Buckeyes restored a bit of respect for the Big Ten after a terrible bowl season for the conference.
