This is the 2nd Annual PoP! NFL Picks pool.
The concept is simple. I will post the NFL Scheduled games each week and you folks pick the winners of each match up and post it on the board. (We don't worry about points scored or the spread until playoffs.) You score 1 point for each correct pick and you get 2 pts for the picking the winner of the week's featured game. (Noted by *asteriks*.) We count up the points and tally them every week and post the standings so that we can see who is lucky...or knows there stuff.
If you are worried about missing a week or two, no problem. At the end of week 17 your worst two weeks are dropped from the point totals. (Which is really good if they are goose eggs.) The winner gets (drum roll) the right to talk smack for the next year!
All you have to do to participate is post your picks in this thread.

The mighty have fallen. For the 4th week in a row Rath failed to reach double digits. AS a whole this was the pools second worst week. Only 3 more total points this week than we had in week 5. There is now a tie for first and that cunning canadian mr cross is trying to re-establish his reign on flap-jack mountain. Goof has come up in the world much as well as the sole owner of 2nd place. Bye weeks are over, so now there are more points out there up for grabs.

I couldn't decide on game of the week. So there are two. Both of these games should be good.
Remember get your picks in before kick-off on Thursday. I decided to contribute a special prize to the first person to pick a perfect week: 2010 SDCC Exlusive X-Force Minimates Set. (Set includes 1st App Deadpool, Cable, Ferral, and Domino....There were only 2000 of these made for the con suposedly.)
