Create Your Own Video Game?

Give a concept or synopsis for sequels, a remake, or an original. Also, add as much as you want. Gameplay, voice-actors, etc. But remember, people have short attention spans.

I was playing MK vs. DCU and was thinking how cool it would be for a sequel to have more or different characters. Like some JSA or more villains, etc. Then it hit me. What if WB/Midway and Marvel/Activision would have a DC vs. Marvel fighting game. Given, easy imagination, but that would be fantastic. Unlockables could be Amalgam characters or some deal. It'd be so fun. With PS3 and X-Box, you could have so much to it, like tag-teams and a large amount of moves and characters. Although, licenses could get steep.

Also, I want my sequel to Twisted Metal Black! Twisted Metal Blacker...or something. It could reinvent classic characters and bring them into this incarnation. Where's my Twister, Pit Viper/Grasshopper (some kind of dune buggy type o'vehicle), Thumper (I was surprised he wasn't in it.), and/or Firestarter (Although, I know most don't like the 989 Studios III and IV, I liked this character.)

Vox Populae - the online roll playing game where you have only one life. When your character dies, he or she is dead, and you have to start as their descendant. You'll have a natural aptitude towards the skills your progenitor had, and you'll be able to claim their property (if it hasn't been scavenged yet).

Here's the real hook. There are no quests. No instances to speak of. There are animals. That's more or less it. The entire game is a framework for the players to build civilizations. Towns or cities or camps or whatever they want. They have to eat, they have to monitor their own health. There's no health bar. There are certain effects, like shivering, or fatigue, but no GUI really. If you've got a massive laceration, you might not notice it unless someone else points it out.

And that's the whole rub. You can't play this game without the help of others actively playing alongside you. And the name, Vox Populae, says it all. It's about 50% voice interaction. If you want someone to do something, there's no clicking, you just walk up to them and ask. There's ways to write things down or such, a contract system, and a system for payments. There's also hugely branching skill trees to allow diversification within a town. And then there's customization. Are you good at singing? You can just start singing in game, asking for handouts. Maybe even turn that into a trade and become a minstrel or bard!

I still want my Nicktoon vs. Cartoon Network game. Pretty much like MK vs. DC. AND NO ADULT SWIM CHARACTERS. And it would be all of the Nicktoon and CN original series, so like none of that Pokemon crap.

And I want my DDR Michael Jackson edition. Instead of just the up/down/left/right though, you'd have to like moonwalk across the mat. I'd also want the eye toy for the PS2 incorporated into this for songs like Thriller, and you would have to get the timing right when you raised your hands as a zombie.

And don't you dare mention all that "oh wahh, he likes little boys" crap. I hate that. Get over yourselves, because if you had gone through the life that he did, you'd probably be doing some weird shit too and bleaching your skin or whatever. The music is still awesome and what I grew up listening to. so :P

And Zombie Star Wars, please.

The only problem with Vox Populae is that, if done poorly, it would suck. If done well, it would likely bring an end to civilization.

Only ...ONLY... if they make a retrofitted Power Glove to go with it. In fact, screw the camera, you'd just need the glove to make sure your hand was in the right place at the right time. Number 1, make it so!

I'd be up for a ReBoot game. Maybe it'd reinvigorate interest and more or new shows? It could have all or at least some of the pop-culture themes for levels. It'd be a great multi-genre game. Mortal Kombat-esque game, the Resident Evil Dead-esque game, etc.

I know, I know. But I loved that show.

Oh reboot I love reboot despite never seeing the final episodes (CITV Cut it off in the middle of that brilliant enzo as cable series because it was getting too violent)

Having a Reboot game with Enzo as the main character would be cool. He would like in the show go to different worlds through the game cubes. But the reason he has too is to find a criminal that escaped from his world and bring the criminal back to his world to face Justice. And a long the way winds up meeting Sims characters, and various other game characters.

That's a pretty cool idea. Throw in some side missions with some other characters and I'd shake your hand.
