The 2010 NFL season has come to a close and we will see how everything hashes out in a couple days. There are some important things to keep in mind. 1) These results include the worst 2 weeks of the 17 game season removed. 2) These results include the play-off picks made week one. 3) These results are not final--in week 10 we make picks for who we thought would win the NFL player awards.
Here is the schedule for when those are announced.
January 6 (morning): defensive rookie of the year.
January 6 (afternoon): offensive rookie of the year.
January 7 (morning): comeback player of the year.
January 10: MVP.
January 13 (morning): defensive player of the year.
January 14 (morning): offensive player of the year.
THE CURRENT Standings are:
Thundermatts 171
Combo Mo 171
Harry Wang 168
Vikros 166
Rath99 166
Goof 162
Briancross 160
Denim 157
Fresh03 157
Tweed Thong 152
hrdwrkngXsoldier 143
The play-off picks did make a tiny impact on the standings, mostly because Rath99 did not make picks, and Harry some how didn't know there were two wildcard teams in each conference and shorted himself a chance at 2 points. Interestingly enough I'll share the most common play-off picks who did not make it. (especially since nobody even picked 8 of the 16):
Dallas: Would they have made it with a healthy Romo all season?
Minisota: Farve should have stayed retired.
49rs: they were in it until week 16, but hey a loosing team won their division.
Cincinati: Who dey? Dey sucked this year.
Miami: Almost everybody thought they had a chance.
New York Giants: 10 wins didn't get them in. Should have played in the west.
The teams nobody picked to make it in this year:
Seattle: They did it making history. 1st loosing team in play-offs YAY!
Kansas City: Nobody new this team would dominate the west, everybody picked San Diego or Denver.
Now for those of you who want to check the schedule and follow along with the player awards to see how this pans out. Here is what everybody picked week 10:

Also lets have a moment of silence for the members of the pool who didn't make it. (dropped due to missing to many weeks)
Hannible King
Big Pappa Nick
Off_White_Lantern
Maybe next year guys.
This has been a lot of fun and I think Mr Cross has volunteered to take over this beast he started many years ago on that other failed corperate board we used to play on. I'll be too busy with 1st year of optometry school to be reliable. Posting the play-off version of this thing momentarily though.
