It's really fucked up that teachers aren't allowed to be openly normal functioning adults. Teachers get fired for a picture of them on Facebook with a beer bottle in hand... when they're of drinking age! And a whole bunch of other bullshitty things... I know one roller derby girl who had to quit playing because it "sent the wrong message" to her students. I have some college friends who are teachers, and a lot of them deactivated their pages after getting jobs. That's so fucked up! I mean, yeah, you don't want some really horrible person teaching your kids, but I bet you that all the holier-than-thou parents (and school administrators) that get their panties in a twist about teachers acting like normal adults are the ones who are fucking around on their spouses and neglecting their kids.

Yeah, my shit's locked up pretty tight; the only people that can see my pages/status/pictures are "friends". Sadly, someone has a vendetta against me and wants to see my life go down the tubes. I have a few ideas, but the emailed something anonymously.

Ironically, I live a relatively clean life; I don't drink, do drugs, get into fights, etc... I'm usually very careful with the types of things I post.

That being said, my sense of humor (which is a little..."dark", if you've never met me before) got me into trouble. I made a joke that, while clearly in jest, looks bad on paper and out of context.

I'll find out in 72 hours what my punishment will be.
