Couple of years ago my LCS gave for free a GL plastic ring with every purchase of some issue (I think it was GLC #1 or something related to Sinestro Corps). I didn't get the issue, but asked about the ring and it was sold for a low price. I then looked at it and saw it's a plain GL ring in light green that won't look good on my finger and seemed like something only a kid would wear, so I passed.
I hope this one looks far more authentic in real life.
