How does that work guys? I mean do I have to pay anything else for internet charges on the PS3. I don't have a port hooked up to it yet...

Nope, PSN is free. You can either wire it to your modem with CAT5 cable (via a hub if you have multiple computers online) or use a wireless router since the PS3 has wireless capability.

Psss there is a A in the middle. I use Valadaz for pretty much everything from aim to DA to Xbox live. So, if you plug that in, 99% of the time it is me.

Does the new slim still have wireless? The xbox 360 you have to pay $100 for a stupid adapter which I never will.

That is a good point, I have no idea if wireless was something they chopped out or not....according to Wikipedia wifi is a yes.

So quick question for those who have the PS3 Slim, should I pick one up? I currently have a 360 and love it. Although the not having the wifi built into my elite and this being my 4th console pisses me off. We were looking into making my 360 wireless for Live and the sales associate starting talking about the PS3, which made my wife look at me and ask, "Why don't we have a PS3 again? Blu-Ray, wireless intergreted?" Both me and the sa said together "Game selection". Although he did admit that things are on the horizon. Anyway, should I be investing in another console? BTW Spiderman, congrat's on the winning of the PS3.

I think the ps3 has some great counsel only games. Like uncharted is a great game! It is also nice having the bluray player.

When Sony put out the PS One(the smaller second version) That pretty much meant they were bringing out the PS2. Then the same thing happened when they came out with the second version of the PS2.

My facts are stupid, i know.

Now there's a PS3 Slim. Does that mean they're already planning the latest one?

Development for the next system started when they released the ps3. It takes years of development. Especially with the redesigns it goes through. They are going to need alot of time to figure out their failures for this council cycle. They need to figure out how to compete with Nintendo. They also needs to make the next system more program friendly. Right now the ps3 is extremely hard to program for.

I don't think the next one will come out anytime soon. I think they made this to try to get more people to buy the ps3. Their sales have sucked pretty bad and needed a big boost. If they can't start selling more systems less publishers will make games for the ps3.

Yeah I got it hella long ago. I love it just as a bluray player alone. So the games I have on it are a plus to me

How awesome would life be if Halo and Gears Of War games were on PS3?
