These, my friends, are pics of the Palisades AoD Ash, the "Last Crusade" Indy, "Raiders" Sallah and recent old school Cobra Commander, as well as Dr Egon Spenger and Doctor Who alongside the Back to the Future II DeLorean, Ecto-1 and the TARDIS. Enjoy!

More pics are on the way. I recently picked up Mezco's "Cinema of Fear" 3-3/4 inch Freddy and will be picking up Jason and Leatherface tomorrow for Ash to battle. For now, though... courage.

There will be more coming soon. I seem to have caught the shutterbug.... Got creative near the end as I got used to the digital camera. The tilted angles are evidence as such.

It is, however, touch and go. The cam is a pain sometimes, not wanting to focus properly, and timing it just right so the DeLorean's effects run while getting my hand out of the shot and holding the camera perfectly still so it captures the lights... That's why some of the shots look blurry.

I didn't "get" the Ash/Delorian pictures until like 2 minutes ago. Brilliant.

Lift Ticket being paired with the Hawk instead of the Tomahawk is a crime against nature, but he DOES look damn good...


With the recent addition of the Stinger to Cobra's ranks, we now have Resolute Cobra Commander leading his forces into battle with Storm Shadow by his side, and Firefly and the Stinger Driver ready to deploy over land; Copperhead, two Eels, and the Dreadnoks (with Monkeywrench running late) deploying by sea in the Water Moccasin, and Major Bludd leading the aerial forces in a Fang!


And here's a long shot showing Cobra's amassed forces... That's Wild Weasel and a Strato-Viper in the Rattler, a Viper in the Trouble Bubble, and two troopers in the CLAWS that are just out of frame at the top

Cliff, gotta say... the new Ray is gorgeous! Better sculpt, better articulation, better... dare I say it... stance!

From what I heard, all the Ghostbusters are sharing a body? Lame-o, but they still rock!

For 20 bucks a figure I ... figured, heh, that I could get a slightly paunchy Ray, a beefy Winston, a rail thin Egon, and a solid regular bodied Venkeman. But due to the body reuse issue I'll be picking up just my two faves... Winston and Venkman.

Judging by Cliff's pics, Ray just seems way too glossy, and I don't think he had that facial expression ONCE in the movies.

I would've liked a face more like this:

And the glossy issue has been plaguing the Four Horsemen's work since the Adam Strange/Starfire 2 pack. I should know, my spaceman's face is pink and shiny.

Either way, I don't care. I have a Ray figure!!!

Although, it kinda torques my cheese to know that while Egon sold out within the first two days of release on MattyCollector (missed him by a DAY, gorrammit!!), Ray's still a peg-warmer, still available after nearly a full month after release.

Which means I have to look on the secondary market and shell out nearly 40 to 50 bones to pick up Egon. *sigh* Damn scalping comicon vendors....

I love this thread. Remind me to take pictures of all my old toys when I go back to California at the end of December.

And when I say all, I mean the classics 80's through 90's action figures.
