I'm trying to change the color of some fur fabric...but I guess because it's polyester, it won't take the fabric dye. Any help?

I'm thinking of making C2E2 my cosplay debut. Since I have no sewing skills and don't have much to drop on a costume, I might go as non-Keanu John Constantine, with tie, trenchcoat, and cig in tow.

Thank you again for the tip on the dye. It "worked", but only on the underside of the fur...not really the outer fur...which is weird. Still...it's at least a little darker. I may just leave it as is.

Second weekend of May I'm pretty sure. ACen's website is under construction so I can't check the weapon rules. I've only heard that props can't be longer than 4'.
