My parents are too old, I wish they would get on facebook, it would mean they somewhat understand technology, instead, i keep getting calls asking how to get the vcr to stop flashing 12:00.

I felt bad for the cable operator that tried to explain to my dad what a DVR was and why it was to his advantage to get one.

I have two aunts as FB friends (and one on twitter), and I can only imagine the kind of shit they've read with mouth agape.

My parents are on my FB account, but I've warned them to stay off my oldest boys myspace account. Unless they want to be like me and just have the wind taken out of their sails. I use my twitter to basically rant about random things and my facebook to communicate with others.

My parents are too dead to be on FB, so I'm lucky. Not that I think my father would've been embarrassed by my activity anyway. I do have several family members on FB and I'm only friends with my cousin who's my age. My brother also befriended our uncle, but I'm yet to do so. Not that I'd mind it, he doesn't seem to be around FB much.

I almost friend-requested my best friend's mom on FB. Then I remembered I get pretty foulmouthed, and for some reason, though I'm the impressionable one who's been corrupted by her son, that I'm the "bad influence" on him. Don't really need to give her more "evidence".
