What Pencil-and-Paper RPGs have you played?

Do you still play?

Well I still have my manual and GM screen and what not for Werewolf, and my Hunter: The Reckoning dice. But I haven't played since I left my friends behind 7 years ago to move to the current craphole I'm wasting away at.

Once apon a time, I used to play the three big White Wolf games, and some others. In high school, I was part of the role playing club. Did wonders for my sex life, that's for sure!

Haven't played in years, but I've played:

AD&D
AD&D 2nd Edition
Call of Cthulu
Traveller 2000
Tales of the Floating Vagabond

And my DM back when I had a weekly group also would use the Traveller rules to run things like Star Trek and Star Wars. It was awesomely fun! (We even went through and determined how to roll up a Jedi in D&D...it was very cool. I played a 'grey' Jedi, which we determined was really what Luke was.)

I've played Vampire: The Masquerade. But not for very long.

I've played D&D 2.5, 3, and 3.5. Also did Robotech, the DC Comics module, Mercs, Kindred of the East, and Warhammer 40k (not the tabletop game, the PnP RPG).

Currently, I'm playing BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth) and this Summer I should be trying D&D 4.0.

I gotta say out of all the White Wolf games I enjoyed Hunter the most. There is just something about being completely expendable that really adds a real sense of "whoa shit I better play this smart of I'm gonna spend another couple of hours creating a new character next session".

Oh, I'd forgotten about the DC and Marvel RPGs! We played those, as well. Our Marvel game was focused on the children of the X-Men, all of whom carried a portion of the Phoenix Force as a precaution.(Laugh all you want -- it's still a better story than GenNext was! ) Our DC stuff was generally centered around the Inferior Five.

144 is actually the RPG I wrote for my thesis... so I'm not sure it should be on the list as it's not published (with an emphatic YET). I still mostly just play 144, D&D 3.5, and Star Wars D20 Revised. In fact, I'm currently running a Star Wars game.

I also have the books for the Serenity RPG, but I've never been able to get anyone to play with me.

I am currently involved in two differnt campaigns, a D & D one and a Gurps: Deadwinds one

I wish I could find a Dark Ages game around here. I like playing crazy shit like Setites and Assamites.
