Official PoP! That Pumpkin! Carving Contest

Are you handy with a knife? Enjoy stabbing things repeatedly? It's time to put those homicidal tendencies to good use. PoP! is looking for the very best carved pumpkin the PoP!ulation has to offer in our inaugural PoP! That Pumpkin carving contest! Think you have what it takes to take home the grand prize? We'll see about that.

PoP! That Pumpkin Rules:

Whatever your nerdy little mind can come up with is welcome. You need to actually carve the pumpkin, though. It is a carving contest, after all.

PoP! That Pumpkin 2009 needs to be physically present (no image manipulation) in your entry. Carve it into the pumpkin; write it on a piece of paper; hell, tattoo it on your forehead. However you want to incorporate it is cool. It just HAS to be there.

Feel free to enter as many different carved-pumpkin creations as you want until 11:59 p.m. Halloween night. Each submission must be individually photographed and include PoP! That Pumpkin 2009.

Past and present PoP! Contributors are excluded from entering. Sorry, chums!

The grand-prize winner will be announced live on the November 2 PoP!-Cast. The prize will be mailed that week.

Never carved a pumpkin in my life. I've helped scoop Jack O'Lantern brains out and seperated seeds when I was a kid. This'd be fun. Probably won't do it, though.

I'd like to say HUMONGOUS ups to Trip for this brilliant idea. I'd also like to say that whoever made the Fantasia pumpkin is insanely talented. And likely just insane, as well.

Just finished this like 20 minutes ago.

I figured I'd take a stab at one of them 'sculpted' pumpkins because, hey, how hard can it be?

Hint: Fucking hard.

So, here's my attempt at Krang. I think it came out okay, I guess.
