Got real excited when looking for info on Mecha-Nation and Progeny, I read DC hired Greg Weisman (Disney's Gargoyles and Spectacular Spider-Man TV series head writer) to do a six-issue series for Red Tornado with Joe Bennett. Then, it all went away I read DC cancelled it. Sad

Makes me wonder if behind the scenes, projects like Tien Pham and Ron Lim's Great Ten series bit the dust in similar manners. I know Keith Champagne's Green Lantern Corps: The Corpse mini-series with Jamal Igle got cancelled like this. At least Rucka's Batwoman mini-series with J.H. Williams III will see the light of day, even though it's in Detective Comics.

Oh wow, that's who that guy is on the DCMBs. Jamal Igle has been talking up a storm. I was wondering why everyone keeps responding to the guy. Heh.

In all honesty, I'm not a big Red Tornado fan. Although, if they made a story about him going away, that'd be great. And I don't mean that negatively. It's just that the "guy" has died like 7 times? I don't know. It may not be that many. All I'm saying is either off him forever, which would be a waste even though I don't care for the character, or, the better idea, "kill" him off to where his consciousness becomes the Elemental of the Wind. Like an Alec Holland type of event.

Ha. Hear, hear! I'd love a Ma Hunkel story to be perfectly honest.
